The Lord says "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you" (Psalm 32 v8)

Welcome to All Saints’ CE Primary School

At our school everyone is important - that’s all the children and all the adults.  It’s a place where everyone is encouraged to be the best that they can be, and a place where they can grow and develop.  As a church school, we celebrate the importance of the Christian faith, which guides us in everything we do.  We also believe that by working together in the “All Saints’ way”, we can achieve amazing things.

All Saints' School Vision

Value Everyone

All Saints’ includes all.  All community members are valued and their needs met through conscious positive promotion of individuals.

All stakeholders are challenged and supported in personal growth (Growth Mindset).  Children are encouraged via a common language of the 5R’s (supported through assessments) and other community members are aided in their growth through training.

Encourage Aspiration

Governors see aspiration as the core purpose of the school.  Individuals are given opportunities to interact with successful individuals from outside the normal sphere of a school.

Work together

All Saints’ places great value on support to achieve the ‘greater good.’

Encounter God

All Saints’ promotes the Christian faith with every word and deed.  Children encounter lots of different types of spirituality but explicitly worship and praise God.

Growth Mindset

All Saints' is a growth mindset school.  This means that everyone strives to include the 5R's - Relationships, Resilience, Resourceful, Risk Taking and Reflective in all that they do.  The School Council explain in their own words what each of the 5R's means:

Relationships

Relationships at All Saints’ means being kind and caring to others, having respect for everyone and working as a team so everyone in our school gets along well together as one happy family.

Resilience

Being resilient is all about trying hard, persevering and never giving up.  If you don’t quite get things right at first, just try again – if you fall down you can get back up again!

Resourceful

At All Saints’, we look around our classroom and school displays if we are stuck and need help and ideas.  We know where to find resources like dictionaries and thesaurus’ so we are independent learners. Also, we know that teachers are always there for us so we ask for help if we need it as well as asking our friends to support us with their brilliant ideas.

Risk taking

We all ‘have a go’ at All Saints’ because we have faith in ourselves.  We know to experiment with challenges and understand that it doesn’t matter if you get it wrong, in the end it may be perfect!

Reflective

To be reflective, we think about our work carefully and what teachers have written so that we can edit our work and ‘fix it’ to make it a stunning piece of work.  We use ideas our teachers have ‘tickled pink’ in the future to be the best that we can be!

We think you'll agree that the Pupil Parliament have displayed all the 5R's working together to produce such a clear and informative explanation.  Well Done!
